Apple’s iPad event tipped for October 22
Before the year is out, we will be seeing the new iPad. According to reports, Apple will hold its next unveiling event on October 22.
The question that remains now is, how much will Apple unveil this year? With the upgrade cycle closing, Apple watchers have been expecting the new iPad 5 and it looks like almost a year had passed since the iPad mini event last year. In the iPad line, iPad 5 will most likely be accompanied with a new iPad mini 2. The new operating system OS X Mavericks 10.9 and new Mac Pro which many are looking forward to will likely be included in the event as well.
The next generation iPad 5 will feature a slimmer design similar to the current iPad mini. Internally, it would be powered by the new 64 bit A7 processor, an improved 8 megapixel camera and probably with the new touch ID fingerprint technology. iPad mini 2 will be upgraded to a retina display and will likely have an A7 processor as well.
Although there have not been any official confirmation from Apple, but as the date is drawing nearer, expect to see increased number of rumors and reports until Apple itself mails out the invites.
