Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC has officially announced the HTC Butterly S Hello Kitty Edition. In case you are wondering what is Butterfly S, it’s the 5 inch version of HTC One with a polycarbonate shell instead of metal and comes with a bigger battery capacity.
According to various Taiwanese media outlets that attended HTC’s launch event, the device will retail for NT$22,900 ($765), the same sticker price when the Butterfly S debuts in Taiwan at the end of June.
The 5 inch device comes with nine different wallpaper themes for the 1080p screen. Features are similar to the Butterfly S, with a 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM and large battery capacity of 3,200 mAh promising 25 hours of talk time, and 659 hours of standby time.

For now the HTC Butterfly S Hello Kitty edition appears to be available exclusively in Taiwan, but it is expected to be made available globally soon.
