Vevo brings access to the site’s library of 75,000 high-definition music videos. The Vevo app will learn from your tastes and will begin playing content based on your previous viewing history.

“Apple TV users are sure to recognize the intuitive and efficient design. VEVO viewers are able to quickly browse videos by featured artists including all of the latest premieres. VEVO includes multiple modes of discovery – you can watch on-demand videos from any genre or simply select any video that piques your interest.”

The Disney apps require cable provider authentication. Currently supported providers for the apps include AT&T U-verse, Charter, Comcast, Cox, Midcontinent Communications, Optimum, and Verizon FiOS.

The Weather Channel app offers forecasts for a variety of locations and also access to featured stories and Weather Channel shows, while the Smithsonian Channel offers on-demand access to full episodes from the television channel.

In June, Apple added HBO Go, WatchESPN, Sky News, CrunchyRoll and Qello. Apple is said to have been working with Time Warner Cable and the app will be on it’s way.
