Apple has just sent out invitation for their September 10 event to be kicked off at 10 am PST. The event would be held in Cupertino, Calif.
Rumors so far has pointed towards two new iPhone models this year, dubbed the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. As indicated by numerous case leaks, the iPhone 5C is expected to come in a variety of colors. Rumored as the plastic back lower-cost iPhone, the 5C is expected to have similar internals to the iPhone 5, featuring an A6 processor, 4 inch Retina display and 8 megapixel camera.
iPhone 5S will have similar design to the current iPhone 5. Analysts expect the iPhone 5S to sport a 31 percent faster A7 processor, upgraded camera for better low-light pictures, fingerprint sensor and gold colored variant, as well as the latest news on a graphite variant that will replace the black color variant. So iPhone 5S is expected to come in 3 color variants; gold, graphite and white.
Apart from new iPhone hardware, Apple is expected to reveal the final features of iOS 7, and mark the announcement date for the new mobile operating system.
Both the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C is expected to hit the stores by September 20. It will all become official when Tim Cook and company makes the announcement on September 10.
