Overstock.com has received $130,000 BTC orders on its first day
The first day of Overstock.com with the newly integrated Bitcoin payment was a great success. Founder and CEO of Overstock, Patrick Byrne announced that Bitcoin orders accounted for $130,000 spread over 840 orders after its first day of accepting it.
This is great news and is sure to lead other companies in accepting Bitcoin. Online electronics retailer, Newegg did hint that they are planning to accept Bitcoin sometime soon. Surely that company is paying attention to Overclock’s success.
