KnCMiner’s first Scrypt ASIC mining rig, Titan is ready for preorder
KnCMiner has started to accept preorder for its first ASIC machine dedicated for scrypt mining.
The mining rig which is known as Titan will have an exterior that is based on the company’s existing Jupiter form factor. Inside the rig, however, it will have multiple blades of cards which differs from Jupiter.
KnC has yet to reveal the full specs, but promises that the Titan will deliver at least 100MHash/sec of performance. The machine measures 60 x 50 x 20cm and weighs 4kg. It can be powered by a standard ATX power supply which is not included in the package. Pricing is on the high side at $9,995 and is expected to be shipped in the second or third quarter of the year.
The company stated that they reserve the right to increase performance at any time, and customers are advised to read the terms and conditions carefully before preordering. Payment can be made via Bitcoin or bank transfer, and it is noted that Litecoin will be added as another payment option in the near future.
