A Giant Wolf Spider Is Scary Enough. Wait Till You See What’s On Its Back.
Two Missouri men have had an unwelcome visit from a wolf spider large enough for them to start filming it. But what they saw crawling on the spider’s back sends shiver down their spine.
Upon zooming in, the men saw that the 4-inch long spider has its back fully covered with baby spiders. Wolf spiders carry their hatchlings on their backs to protect them. The mother arachnid may be looking for a safe place to raise her pile of babies.
