At the mountain areas of Utah, not much grows on the land due to the dry temperatures and insufficient water. It is a desert, after all.
But every few years, if the conditions are just right, these otherwise arid lands of Utah’s badlands burst into colors with carpets of Scorpion Weed and Beeplant.
This magnificent view will only last for few days.
The distinctive purple of the Scorpion Weed and the yellow Beeplant contrasts with the grey tones of the earth.
