The iPhone 5S launch date has been revealed as September 10, sources told AllThingsD. Well, the report mentioned the next iPhone, but it’s unclear whether the event would include the lower-cost iPhone 5C. Previous reports did however report that Apple is expected to launch the next iPhone together with iPhone 5C. So would there be a double launch on September?
The iPhone 5S would have similar design to the iPhone 5 with slight improvement mainly focusing on the camera and processor. It is rumoured to include a fingerprint sensor which is likely since Apple acquired Authentec last year. All new devices is expected to come with iOS 7 awaiting for the announcement or when the phone debuts.
