American artist Ra Paulette spent each day of the last 10 years carving a giant cave. He spent his time working alone with the company of only his dog at the sandstone mesas of Northern New Mexico carving different designs and styles for each cavern.

The purpose of his gigantic artwork is to foster ‘spiritual renewal and personal well being.’ Once completed, it will also serve as a venue for artistic events and personal discovery.
