Although the thought of a dog and cat getting along might sound uncanny to many, it is not impossible. There are many cases where both species got along really well. This corgi and her best friend cat is a good example.
Cats are notorious for their grooming habits, and can spend up to 50 percent of their waking moment indulging in some form of cat grooming. Cats do groom other cats that they bond together or that they consider are part of their family. The fact that this cat kept licking the corgi showed that they are the best of friends. Both of them are almost inseparable.
