Render design of the LG Nexus 5 looks similar to the spotted Nexus device in Android Kit Kat video

We got a sneak peek of a device alleged to be the Nexus 5 in a video released by Google when the company unveiled Android 4.4 Kitkat. A reddit user went a step further to create a render of the said LG Nexus phone, comparing it with previous Nexus devices.

 Hardware

The render looks similar to the Nexus device we spotted in the Android 4.4 video, having a Nexus logo at the rear panel and a big camera similar to Nexus 7. Google has yet to announce the device, but according to reports, it is expected to sport a 4.96 inch display, Snapdragon 800 processor, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, wireless charging and 2,300 mAh battery.

Software

Nexus 5 is expected to run Android 4.0 Kit Kat. Currently, there is no mention of the launching date. However, Google cutting the price of Nexus 4 recently might be an indication that they are clearing the Nexus 4 inventory and Nexus 5 is in the pipeline.
